At Transistor we consistently strive to create visually striking and engaging work across multiple platforms. Finding the best in-house talent and freelance artists to collaborate with is key to our continuing success. We aim to make the studio an inspiring, collaborative and fun environment that brings out the best in all our individual and collective endeavors.
Our program is a bit different than the others. We accept interns all year round, can accommodate school credits and also accept post graduates.
Transistor's program typically lasts 3 months with opportunities to extend.
Our studio's work touches the entire spectrum of creativity and production: concept, design, animation, 3D, live action and editorial. Due to our dynamic client roster,
we look for candidates that are multi-skilled. For example: graphic design with After Effects or traditional animation with Cinema4D. Our team prides itself on tackling
all sorts of creative challenges, which includes our interns heavily participating in the day-to-day process of commercial work.
Lastly, we're a positive bunch of misfits. Our interns are the same. They should:
Embrace direction and criticism
Stay curious and ask questions
Take opportunities to go beyond comfort zones
Be a team player
Learn basic process: department roles, project evolution, professional communication, etc.
